Vic's Redbook Residency Page
This is where I'll be putting information about my residency, and the general experience
of being part of the IBM International Technical Support Organization (ITSO) for five
weeks.
I'll be fairly busy working on the book, but I hope to get some time to look around and
see some of what Poughkeepsie, Fishkill , and the Mid-Hudson Valley area have to show.
NEW! IMPROVED! Sorry, looks like the US is starting to get to me... ;)
I've added some photos of NYC. Click here to
view the progress so far. The photos of IBM and a couple
of hotel photos are still there. The few shots from my day
trip to Montreal (yes, Canada. Why? Because we can) are still coming, mainly
because they're a bit boring. Well, honesty is the best policy (but it doesn't
justify the new digital camera I bought! ;)
SET GEEK-HUMOUR MODE ON: As someone thoughtfully and tactfully pointed out to me (you know
who you are), I KNOW I won't ever get a job as a web page designer -- why?
Because I'm writing this page by hand, using 'vi', rather than using some funky software.
Which means I know HTML, which instantly overqualifies me to do web page
design!!! ;)
